ooc: Sounds fine to me! Lightningchase... I like it! bic: Lightningstrike waited patiently, eyes flat as he watched the other warrior, claws tapping the ground as he scanned for the tell-tale movement of fish.

(lol randomness. I wanted to make a Lambpaw in WindClan at your site, but well... maybe I'll wait. White she-cat with long fur that curls up a bit, light brown eyes. Lambheart? I think it sounds cute...)
Hollowecho had raced across the beach up until now, where he cut across the water so he was standing across from Lightingstrike, with several fox-lengths between them. He glanced at his friend, then charged. The water sprang up, and he fought through the waves, half running - half wading, herding any fish towards Lightningstrike, who was sure to catch some. He jumped sideways to avoid the rippling waves, ran and jumped, ran and jumped, making sure his course was straight so Lightningstrike had a better chance. The fish had no where to go. Hollowecho had two sides covered, the seashore was the other, and the final way was guarded by Lightningstrike. "They're all yours!" he half yowled, half purred.

ooc: Oh, I like Lambheart! Sounds kinda weak and cowardly though.
bic: Lightningstrike intercepted the biggest fish, gripping it with claws and wrapping forelegs, tumbling in the water as it thrashed. Her finally managed to get his teeth deep, just below the massive fish's skull, and it stopped. Dropping the fish, he took the last fish that swam toward him, grabbing it with his claws and ripping through the scales, spilling blood into the water. The fish stopped the next moment, gone. He dragged it out, shaking himself off and dragging the fish up the shore, then racing back in and grabbing the first fish, the bigger one, by the tail and dragging it from the waves, glancing at Hollowecho. "Help me with this?" he growled.

(awww... lol i guess i saw it as gentle and kind.) "I'm coming, I'm coming," the gray tom plucked the fish off the ground. He would have mewed job well done, but lightningstrike knew that and probably wouldn't be too fond of praise when it wasn't really needed.

ooc: I could see gentle and kind. It just wasn't my first thought, you know?
bic: Lightningstrike flicked his tail at the other tom and backed to the gulls. Two large fish and three gulls. Yay.

(Im not really mad or anything, just wondering. a bit dissappointed but that's your opinion of course.)
"That's not bad, right? Should feed the whole nursery, and not even all the kits eat fresh-kill yet! One good thing about this Clan stuff is, you get to hunt until your heart's content, and technically you're not wasting any prey. Some cat will eat it, eh?" Hollowecho mewed. (lol the upside right?_

"That's true," agreed Lightningstrike. "I hated fishing and then eating half the fish. I felt like such a pig who then didn't eat anything!"

"Yeah, but you had me. I would've finished off that fish," he teased. The two loners had hung on on some occasions, after all, even they got lonely. "You could'vegiven me a holler. But it doesn't matter now, I guess."

"No, not anymore," he agreed, shrugging. His staggered up the slope, fish dragging around his paws, leaving Hollowecho to figure out what to do with the birds.

Hollowecho glanced aroun at the feathered prey, then decided to carry them by their wings. He held his head high so as not to trip over them all the time, and hurried after speedy Lightningstrike. His name was VERY fitting, lol..

"I don't speak catinese, sorry," called back Hollowecho in a playful tone, but his words were probably muffled by the mouthful of prey as well. "I duhn ekkk katnee, rry. Um kumn!"

Lightningstrike blinked, pausing and trying to figure out the wording. Giving up, he shrugged and kept walking.

Back out camp Hollowecho dropped his load of prey. "Phew! I think we did more than our share of work for today, don't you agree?"

Lightningstrike grunted, then managed to nod. "Oh, yeah." he dropped his fish on the pile and nodded at Hollowecho. "Lots of work."
