Brightstar looked at riverpaw. "I think we are done for today, but at sun rise the chase will began agen, and don't even try this water stunt agen." she padded away with out another word. Blackmoon jumped down from her tree. "I told you her whole personalty changed." she whisperd to riverpaw.

Riverpaw was a bit shocked at her sudden mood change, but he nodded at Blackmoon, suddenly remembering. "Okay, bye Brightstar!" he called after his mentor. "Maybe I should start practicing with the other apprentices."

Brightstar just walked away. Like a ghost disappearing in thin air. Blackmoon closed her eyes. "Riverpaw its not your fault she is this way she is just her kit hood was well terrible. She had no one."

Blackmoon sighed he desereved to know. Riverpaw You need to know some things about brightstar............ come with me,." She padded towards brightstars den. Brightstar looked up. Seeing riverpaw. "You may leave blackmoon." she mewed. Blackmoon dipped her head, and left. "Come now riverpaw its time you knew."

"Know what?" whispered Riverpaw, slowly padding into the den. It's was big, and quite soft. But it was Brightstar's den! It seemed so... sacred. "You don't have to tell me anything, Brightstar. It's okay if you don't trust me. Half the Clan doesn't anyway."

"I do trust you, and any cat who thinks other wise is a foxed-dung- brain fool! It was not un like brightstar to raise her voice, but it was strange how she was doing it to one cat.
