Raindance's kitting {Open}

Raindance smiled when she saw her kits suckling. She was so proud that her kits were finally her. Raindance also was very happy when Owlpetal told her that she had white twins. She was cleaning her kits when she heard footsteps."Who's there,"she mewed while worried. Suddenly, Flamestreak jumped out at her. Raindance shrieked but immediately started laughing."Oh Flamestreak it was just you,"she purred and smiled at him." Say hello to your new son and daughter,"she mewed. He looked down at them."There are just perfect,"he purred."How about my tough son Icekit,"he asked Raindance."I love it! What about my smart daughter Snowkit,"she asked her mate."Perfect,just perfect,"he meowed.

[Rainy]

"What if they turn out to be the other way around?" chuckled a voice. "Smart tom and tough she-cat? I'm just kidding. Congrads, Flamestreak and Raindance. They are adorable." Lakefrost stood at the entrance. Owlpetal had just announced the new litter and everyone was excited to great the new additions. He nodded at the ginger tom, happy the deputy had finally found a loving, caring mate. Maybe now he would let Gingerpaw hang out with HIM more.

Raindance laughed."Maybe it will be like that but I doubt it,"she purred. Flamestreak pulled Lakefrost over to the side."Gingerpaw is all yours,"he mewed."You'll probably have kits soon since she is going to have her warrior ceremony tomorrow,"he meowed.

[Rainy]

Lakefrost looked taken aback, and embarrassed. "How did you.. er, but..." he let out a loud breath of air. "Thanks, Flamestreak," he mewed softly. "She's a brilliant cat. You taught her well, you know. Her fighting and hunting skills are fantastic! But, I'll take it from here. I'll keep an eye on her now," his blue eyes twinkled. But he was glad to have the deputy's good graces, and permission - not that he needed the latter. Gingerpaw had chosen HIM, and that was all that mattered. He was surprised by the kit bit. Of course he wanted to be a father, but he wouldn't rush Gingerpaw. She would choose the time, and he would be ready whenever.

"I know things,Lakefrost,"he mewed."I know because I'm the deputy,"he purred.

[Rainy]

Lakefrost nodded, and backed up towards the entrance. "Well, I should go. Others want to welcome the new Clan members. Congrads again, and good luck!"
