Appearance: Redstorm is a large ginger tom, with green eyes. He gets his name from his flamboyantly red fur, which is long and often fluffed up around him, if he is angry or just hadn't had time to try to flatten the unruly stuff out that morning. His tail is equally long and fluffy, and is used to express himself more than his face or eyes. It's more of a mood indicator than anything else about him.
Personality: Redstorm is quick to anger, and will be on you like a storm if he finds you doing something wrong. He sticks to the code like glue, and is very gung-ho about life. Anything that comes his way is either one way or the other, and he throws himself into his life and work with zeal. Even though this may have detracted from his value as a warrior, he learned to control his emotions enough to think things through fully before making a decision, but his policy is still mostly action before diplomacy.
History: Redstorm has always lived in WindClan, and became deputy after Briarclaw ascended to become Briarstar. He became a warrior at thirteen moons, after an incident with a badger put him out of action for training for about a moon, more or less. He has only mentored once, a she cat named Featherflames, but that cat died shortly before her warrior ceremony, while trying to save a kit from a fire caused by lightning. She succeeded, but was badly burned in the process, and couldn't be treated. Rainstar was kind enough to send her to StarClan with her warrior name, Featherflames, in honor of her brave sacrifice. Redstorm was stricken for many days, but he has come to terms with the fact that it was Featherflames's own decision, and a noble one at that, to sacrifice herself.
Redstorm's parents were Gorsefur and Foxtail, both of WindClan, and he has many siblings: Orangeblossom, Yellowstripe, Greengaze, Bluewater, Indigoblaze, and Violetflame. Orangeblossom, Yellowstripe, and Greengaze were of Redstorm's litter, and Bluewater, Indigoblaze, and Violetflame are five moons younger than the first four. Yellowstripe and Indigoblaze moved to ShadowClan, one for love and one for the other sibling. Greengaze moved to ThunderClan because she felt she didn't belong in WindClan, and Bluewater moved to RiverClan because she was better at fishing than hunting rabbits. Orangeblossom and Violetflame stayed in WindClan with Redstorm.
