Flickerkit was nosing around a ball of moss, wondering when something exciting would happen. Suddenly something heavy landed on his back and the ball of moss went flying. "Hey! Watch it!" He squeeled, pushing his sister off of him.
"I just caught my first bit of prey!" Wrenkit bragged as she wriggled off of him. "Where do you thing Jaynight is?" She asked, suddenly serious. "Have you seen her?"
"I thought she was on a patrol. Whats got you so worried?" Flickerkit asked. Wrenkit shrugged. "I don't know." Flickerkit resumed playing with the ball of moss, flicking it up in the air. Wrenkit sighed and lay down in the shade of a juniper tree.
