"All cats old enough to catch their own prey gather beneath the High Ledge for a Clan meeting!" Brightstar Yowled at the top of her lungs. "Flamestreak Come HEAR NOW!" She agen yowled a bit more in an angrily sort of tone.

Flamestreak ran up to Brightstar. All my other kitties came to.

"I say this before StarClan, so that the spirits of our ancestors, and Flamestreak's body, so he may hear and approve my choice. FLAMESTRAK will be the new deputy of THUNDERCLAN!!!!!" She let out the furious Yowl so that all of StarClan could hear her.
"Do you accept this roll in Thunderclan Warrior!? Will you be my deputy?!" She yowled over a now starting thunderstorm.
(lol how Convenient!) Than the rains started. "DO YOU FLAMSTREAK!?" A wet Brightstar yowled.

(Well she is yelling over the thunder, and rain so thats why)
"Than so it be known that Flamestreak is the NEW Deputy!" She let out a low mew. She jumped down just as a lighting struck.

Flamestreak smiled and rain poured down on his head."Thank you Brightstar I shall not let you down,"he mewed.
Soulkit ran out of the nursery."Mommy,Mommy,"she squeaked.

Brightstar did, an approving nod as she ran to Soulkit. She rapped her body around the little soaked kit. As she walked back with her little Soulkit she placed her in a conner on the nursery on top of some dry squishy moss. She than began to clean the little she-kit. When she was done Brightstar laid down with the kit. It was soothing to have fur to fell, and a purr to hear. this time not her own.

Brightstar purred. "I see you are a fighter little warrior." she than playfully flipped Soulkit over on her back, and nibbled at her hind leg.
She than began to think. 'don't all kits need a kin?' now of course there were OTHER kits in the nursery, but that wasn't a good enough reason to not give her adoptive kit sisters or perhaps brothers.

Brightstar smiled. "yes you win you win." "Now i think its time for little kit named Soulkit to go to sleep." She looked at all the other kits who were all sleeping soundly. Brightstar curled up with soulkit holding her tightly under her weight. She purred a bit hoping to let the kit sleep more quickly.

Brightstar pulled the kit back up. "You have eaten past your fill now it's time for you to SLEEP."

"But I can't sleep without a midnight snack,"Soulkit mewed and crawled toward her mother's stomach again.
Flamestreak sat outside his plan had worked.

"NO." Brightstar said firmly. "You can eat in the morning I am far to tired to have to worry about you exploding from over eating." Brightstar got down from the nest. "I will come back to feed you in the morning STAY in that nest or I will be forced to punish you." She walked out than saw Flamestreak. "What are you doing out side so late? Do you have the night watch?"
