If you haven't noticed, there is a new Clan: TideClan. Awesomeful Crazy will be its leader, Flightstar, and I plan on getting the camp, territory, and borders boards up and running soon. The bio board for the clan is already there.
I will need a deputy, medicine cat, and med. cat app., and I WILL allow members a second rank, if they already have one and want to try for another, you can TRY but I might be a little harsh. If you at least have one, I might put others before you if they don't have, unless they aren't very active and you are. ACTIVENESS IS MORE IMPORTANT, no. 1 on my list! K? I might even consider filling in a role if noone volunteers, of course, not right away. Lol but I want to be fair, and let others try first.
You remember all the journeys to sun-drown-place? The former warriors of RiverClan and ShadowClan, who left the lake territory to follow Brightstar and Stonestar, kept traveling, hoping to find SOMETHING. They were forced to stop when their paws met sand, and the ocean spread out before them. Unsure where else to go, they settled down, at first thinking it was temporarily.
Brightstar died along the journey, losing her last life under normal circumstances. (I mean by that, no one killed her.) Stonestar's original deputy was killed by a fox shortly after leaving the other Clans. So Stonestar took Brightstar's deputy, Nightwave, and for the first time, ShaowClan and RiverClan, still combined (they get along better than mixed Thunderclan and WindClan for the most part, they've been together longer.) is under one leadership. Many warriors were lost along the way, but the cats were happy for a break. After testing it out, they discovered the territory wasn't so bad. The ocean was still water, and though the waves were much stronger than the river's, warriors found fish to eat, and seabirds were always along the shore. Nightwave found an old badger sett, probably Midnight's. She hasn't been there in a long time though, judging by the faint scent. The black tom said it was a mysterious place. The walls were made of a strange rock that glowed at night. It was cold to the touch and smelled of frost. He felt a connection to it, but it wasn't near big enough for a Clan.
A windy path led down the cliff side, steep but walkable. Warriors and apprentices could manage it, although the first time was a bit tricky. At the top of the cliff was a bit of a forest. Not too thick, but with scattered trees, and some familar forest prey. Herbs grew there, and a fresh-water stream that trickled into the ocean. Stonestar was scouting around the wood, and found a nice-sized hollow. It was suitable for both former RiverClan and ShadowClan warriors. Soon they cats made dens there, and made a real home. The warriors adapted to the strange territory, and set borders. Some loners and rouges wandered around, and even a couple decided to join them. A few cats, like a loner, Hollow, had lived by the sea their whole lives, and passed on some useful knowledge and skills to help the former forest warriors. One afternoon, while watching the red sun fall and set the ocean to liquid fire, Stonestar decided something. "ShadowClan and RiverClan are gone. We are no longer warriors of the forests and rivers, but of the sea. We shall be TideClan. We are different cats now, no longer of two Clans but of one."
(Hawky mentioned tides as representing rebirth. they are new, changed warriors.)
And this is were TideClan is now. They've settled into their territory permenantly. Stonestar and Nightwave have died, and new cats replaced them. They mysteriously died within hours of each other, leaving no cat to take over. The remaining medicine cat (Only one from the Clans came with. The other is unknown?) went to Midnight's old den, the only place that had any special connection to their warrior ancestors. Midnight was gone, but her den must have been where she too shared dreams with StarClan. Few warriors still had faith in their ancestors, but others held strong. That night, the medicine cat, Goldensea, had a dream. A great, shining bird took flight, rising to the stars and to greatness. She returned and announced, Flightsong was to be the next TideClan leader. Goldensea died the next day.
The rebirth has begun. A new day dawns before the newly formed TideClan. What awaits them? You decide.
