Moonkit,bluekit, and midnight kit all dash around the nursery. "Can't catch me!" Bluekit squealed. "Yes I can!" Midnightkit mewed almost out of berth. The all stopped to see a large figure entering the nursery

Crouching in the shadows, Blackkit waited, watching. When the other kits froze at the sight of her father, Darkberry, she sprang forward, colliding successfully with Midnightkit and rolling over, crowing with delight.

Midnightkit sprang up like a lighting bolt. She looked at bluekit, and nodded her head. They both sprang on blackkit. "hehehehehe." bluekit laughed. Moonkit giggled as well away from all the commotion.

"Hey, kits. What are you up to?" mumbled Riverpaw through a mouthful of moss. He had offered to clean out the nursery today. A small piece of moss fell to the ground, the perfect size for a game of moss ball... "Oh, shoot," the apprentice sighed.

Riverpaw purred and set down the bundle. "If you really want to, Midnightkit, but it's really NOT that fun. But I'd enjoy a helping paw. It's kind of annoying I'm like, the only apprentice."

Pebblepaw, Dandelionpaw , Swiftpaw, and sparrowpaw all padded up to riverpaw. "What are WE than riverpaw?" pebblepaw hissed.

Pebblepaw, Dandelionpaw , Swiftpaw, and sparrowpaw all laughed. Each grabing some old moss in there mouthes. You kits just wait its not that fun." peblepaw laughed. "come on crew lets head out!" swiftpaw mewed. they all padded away.

(huh. it's swifty and pebbley that are competing over dandelion, right. does Sparrowpaw have any plans?)
Riverpaw could have complained about Swiftpaw taking charge of the patrol, but he didn't really mind. He grabbed his moss and fell in line with Sparrowpaw.

Blackkit watched, tail twitching, then rolled up a bit of moss. Darkberry crouched in the nursery, watching with amusement as his daughter threw the ball in the air, then sat watching it fall.

Moonkit saw the moss ball. "MOSS-BALL!!!!!!!!!!!!" she squealed. Racing to catch it, but instead bunked heads with blackkit. "owyyyyyyy." moonkit cryed.

Blackkit jumped back, flinching and blinking hard, her head hurting. "Ouch!" she cried out, but no more. Shaking her head, the she-kit cleared her vision and padded toward Moonkit. "Are you okay?" she mewed, anxious. her ShadowClan ancestry instilled in her a desperation to show no weakness. Darkberry was by her anyway, licked her head and then gazing at Moonkit, unsure what to do.
