appearance: small, dark gray, almost black, tabby with barely visibe stripes; (blind) silver eyes.
personality: Darkkit is blind, but very stubborn and independent. He hates when other cats try to help him, or pity him, and often lashes out at those who do. He wants to be a warrior more than anything, and he feels his Clanmates' doubt like thorns in his pelt. Very determined, he'll show them all. he just wants to be treated like any other cat, and be a respected warrior.
history: named Darkkit because of his blindness. His parents died when he was little, and was eventually apprenticed to RiverClan's Brightstar. Many cats protested, saying a blind cat could never be a warrior. Darkpaw's training was a bit different than other of his Clan's apprentices: he couldn't learn to fish and focused mostly on woodland prey and catching it. He isn't the greatest fighter either, but swift and agile, thanks to his size. His hearing and sense of smell and particular strong however, and can sense his way around, feeling movement through the ground. Most of his Clan think he was given a warrior name out of pity because he couldn't be one in the truest sense of the word. Brightstar never said...
When his leader broke the code, Darksight didn't follow her. He had suspected what she was up to moons ago when he was young, but as a loyal apprentice kept it a secret. He stayed behind mostly because he was so used to the old territory, and wasn't up to a long journey into the middle of nowhere. In fact, he adjusted quite well to WindClan. Once they got over the fact he was blind, he fit right in. The moor is much more open with less things to run into, rabbits were easy enough for him to catch. His only problem is with hawks sometimes, but their loud wingbeats give him away.
