It was about midday, the sun was high in the sky but despite it being warm there was a chilling breeze.
And a cream colored she-cat sat beside a bramblebush, her chocolate colored tail lazily flicking back and forth, her azure eyes closed into slits, earks flicking back and forth.
It was a boring afternoon, not much going on, Raindance hadn't been sent out on any patrols or hunting parties. She leaned down to lick a paw and draw it over her dark ears.

Dawnash, carrying a mouse, padded over, dropping the mouse next to Raindance, then circling around and flopping down pulling the mouse toward her. "Hey. How are you? Raindance, right?"

Raindance opened her icy eyes and turned to look at Dawnash "Yes, its Raindance. And I'm fine thanks, how about yourself?"

(LOVE THE NAME!) Lakefrost padded over, and smiled at Raindance. "Howdy, she-cats. Having a good morning so far?" He grabbed a squirrel from the fresh-kill pile, and stopped beside the two pretty she-cats. "Mind if I join you? May my presence mingle with yours?" he teased.

Raindance smiled rolling her eyes slightly "No, not at all Lakefrost" she purred amused, standing up to grab a mouse for her self from the pile

Purring, Dawnash flicked Lakefrost's ear with her tail. She liked the younger tom, but only because he reminded her of her brother Crowflower. She missed him, but knew he'd made the best choice for himself. "I'm great," she mewed to Raindance, eyes bright.

Raindance smiled "that's good" she side-glanced at Lakefrost the started eating. The wind blew over her thin fur ruffling it a bit.

"Thanks," he mewed, and dropped down to tear apart his squirrel. He saw Raindance's fur was all ruffled. Hmmm, her pelt was pretty thin. His fur was shaggy and long. He looked a bit like a cloud really, but he was never cold. "Are you shivering?" he asked.

"A little" she meowed looking up from her mouse "But I manage" she smiled. She turned to look at the sky...it looked like it might rain.

Enjoy the warmth while it lasts. Leafbare is coming," Lakefrost sighed, and took another bite.

Indigoblaze padded over with a pigeon in his jaws. "Um, mind if I join you guys?" he asked nervously, mumbling a bit through the pigeon.

Lakefrost chuckled, "Of course. We need some more toms over here. The she-cats are taking over the place!"

Indigoblaze chuckled and sat down, fidgeting until he got into a comfortable position, and then taking a bite of his pigeon. His glance flicked from cat to cat, waiting for someone to say something.

"So... what's up, Indigoblaze? We need to take advantage of all they prey we can now. We were just saying we can feel leafbare coming." Lakefrost meowed conversationablely. (lol new word.)
