Longwhiskers frowned. "I suppose so, but its strange how there is ANOTHER brightkit well she is brightstar, but i still wonder if it could be her......" His voice traled off.

Longwhiskers got up "I know i am an elder in such, but its high time I give back to the clan I love lets go hunting!" He mewed alredy half way out of the den "com'on riverpaw." He yowled.

Longwhiskers padded in to the forest. He spotted a little russel in a bush. He pounced bringing up a faily large rat.

Riverpaw was a bit stunned. He didn't know Longwhiskers had it in him. He hoped the elder wouldn't offer to share the rat. Stories of the carrionplace back in the forest were still told in ShadowClan. Warriors had caught rats to feed the clan but instead, it brought sickness and killed many cats.

"oh dear a rat. What a wast of a pounce." Longwhiskeres picked up the rat, and threw it.
He pounced to a tree than came back down with a jaybird in his mouth.

Riverpaw almost protested, a bit frustrated Longwhiskers was throwing away any prey. Leafbare was coming, and there was no carrionplace here. Oh well... he hurried after the elder, not wanting to let him out of his sight.
