(I added some stuff, and i might have messed up on some stuff sorry!) "LET all cats old enough to catch there own pry gather hear tonight! "She looked over to riverkit. "Riverkit, from now on, you shall be known as Riverpaw. I brightstar will mentor you so that you may see to it that you are an excitant warrior when the time comes." "Do you promise to hold up the warrior code, and do your best to protect this clan?"

(oh, um... thanks. you didn't have to do this though. I was gonna wait til pplz got settled. Do YOU want to mentor him, as Brightstar? that would be funner than me mentoring my own kitty. if you know what i mean.)

(Tip for playing leaders: Wait until someone asks you specifically for a ceremony before doing one. )

(lol its okay. first time leader? it gets better.)
Riverkit's eyes widened. He had been so excited and impatient to begin his warrior training. He was a bit young, but was ready. It wasn't usual for a leader to ask that pledge of a new apprentice, but with all the uneasiness in the Clans, and the tom being half-clan, it was understandable. Riverpaw nodded. "I will do my best, Brightstar. Thank you so much for giving me this chance. I hope, in the moons to come, I prove to you I am a worthy apprentice of your time and of this Clan," he mewed solemnly. Iriswhisker gazed at him, pride in the kit she had come to care for. She was so proud of him. And what a speech! He would be an interesting apprentice.

Riverpaw's hazel eyes shone, and he padded forward to touch noses with her. Iriswhisker led the chant, and Lakefrost joined in. "Riverpaw! Riverpaw!"

Brightstorm met Riverpaws nose with her bowed head. In his ear she whispered "You are now and forever be a true Thunder clan cat, and don't let any body tell you different." She smiled.

Riverpaw purred, his pelt tingling with pride and happiness. "I can't thank you enough, but..." he hesitated, then jumped back, and bounced on his paws. "What are we doing first?!" Words weren't enough, but maybe he could prove how grateful he was through actions.

Greengaze gave a nod, but didn't cheer. Yellowstripe wasn't in camp, and Indigoblaze cheered along with the other warriors.
(It does get a lot better. I've done it...at least six times, probably more, either leader or Healer. Medicine cat is normally easy, and deputy isn't difficult either, but leader is a bit more involved. With practice you'll do fine.)

Riverpaw nodded. He couldn't wait until tommorow! But, well, maybe he could. He padded towards the apprentices' den, planning on fixing a nest for himself. Iriswhisker almost ran him over. "Congradulations! Would you like to share some fresh-kill with me, RiverPAW?" The dusky tom purred. "Sure, Iriswhisker, and thanks. For everything." He didn't say it outloud, but she was like his new mother since Swiftwater left him. Sure, she was a bit awkward and uncomfortable with the parenting stuff, but he still cared about her.
(if you want, doesnt matter. i agree with hawky. i think i kinda like medy cat best, becuz of its mysteriousness, prophecies and the power over life and death and all, but then again, leaders get to have cermonies! yay! and die! nothign funner than playing out a death scene! lol)
