Fallenpaw nodded in greeting to Bronzepaw. "This is Halopaw. She's medicine cat apprentice of WindClan, back at the old territory," he explained. "She wanted to meet you."

"Nice to meet you,"she purred."Do you mind if I sleep with you,"she asked.

Bronzepaw flattened his ears in shock at Halopaw's question but he shook it off, struggling to find his voice. "S-sure. This hollow log is big enough for b-both of us. Perhaps we can learn from each other. Not trying to sound rude, but are you planning on staying long? You're more than welcome to, but it will be a shame when you have to leave. You don't realize how long I've been wanting to meet another medicine cat. I guess StarClan sent you to me!" he purred warmly, getting over his anxiety from meeting a new cat and instead looked forward to it.

Fallenpaw answered Bronzepaw's question. "Her and her kittypet friend Bijou probably won't stay for more than half of a quarter-moon*, sadly, Bronzepaw."

"Well, I guess we'll just have to learn as much as we can. You brought a kittypet?" Bronzepaw mewed curiously. (Which is better, Bronzecloud, Bronzesky, Bronzefire?)

Fallenpaw nodded, glad to be of help to the medicine cat. "Her name is Bijou, like I said," he piped up.

Bronzepaw nodded. "Thanks for filling me in. Anything else, Fallenpaw, can I get you anything? I doubt you'll want to hang out with a couple of boring medicine cat apprentices, do you?" he teased, guessing many cats found their job tetious and dull. "You can stay, or go, whatever you like."

Halopaw sat down in her nest . She really liked Bronzepaw."Can I have some poppy seeds my legs are killing me,"she mewed.

Fallenpaw glanced around the den. It was warmer in her than outside, and, well... he felt quite tired. "Mind if I take a nap here?" he purred. "It's quieter than in the the apprentice's den here."

"Oh, sure. You must be exhausted too after such a long nest. You can make a nest beside Fallenpaw if you're tired, we can always talk later." Bronzepaw turned and grinned at Fallenpaw. "Yeah it is. Sure, I don't mind the company. In fact, I quite enjoy it." He whipped around and padded to the very back of the hollow where is herbs and his own nest were.

Fallenpaw padded to the beds of moss, set aside for sick cats. He sniffed two carefully, making sure they weren't being used by ill warriors. He curled up, and looked over at Halopaw. "These two are comfortable," he purred.

"I'll fetch us all some mice later on," Bronzepaw mewed, going back to his herb sorting. "Sweet dreams," he purred.

Fallenpaw nodded, golden eyes already closed. He'd been busy today; him and Dizzyspiral, his mentor/best friend, had been teaching him fighting moves.

Halopaw laid down and yawned."She glanced at Fallenpaw and Bronzepaw one more time. Then drifted to sleep.

Bronzepaw hummed to himself to fill the silence as he shuffled through his herbs, chuckling a bit at Fallenpaw's noisy snoring...
