Flamefeather heard Darksight talk about the honey and burrs. He put them in his nest! Deliberately, slowly, he turned round and gave Darksight an overly friendly smirk.

Whiteflower noticed Flamefeather's odd expression and frowned at him. It seemed mocking and cruel to make that face at her blind mate. Narrowing her eyes, Whiteflower lifted her chin, fixing her Clanmate with fury.

"Flamefeather is giving me a look, isn't he?" murmered Darksight. His claws unsheathed, how he'd love to claw that look off Flamefeather's face. But that would only cause problems at a gathering, ecspecially since the tom was his own Clanmate. "Can't Sandwhisker stand up for herself? Or do you have to do everything for her?" he mewed in a mocking tone instead.

Whiteflower spat, fluffing up and glaring at Flamefeather. If Darksight were to attack first, she'd let him fight, not team up on their filthy Clanmate. Then the stupid warrior would see what a warrior lacking eyes could do. She leaned forward, though, exercising massive restraint, every muscle in ehr body screeching to let her tackle the tom. "Jealous because she has eyes? Is that the only insult you can think of?" she hissed, her voice low and threatening.

Darksight lashed his tail, but he was glad Whiteflower was backing him up now. All the Clan could see he wasn't unjustly acusing Flamefeather. The dark tabby knew who had done it right away. His nose worked just fine, but he kept his suspicions to himself. "Why would I be jealous? I don't need eyes to see," he mewed simply. (get what i mean?)

"Oh, I just don't want to embarrass WindClan at a Gathering by saying anything worse and provoking him," the fiery tom mewed. With a more sourer tone he hissed at Darksight, "Just stay away from my sisters and never, ever threaten them ever again." With that he stalked off.

Darksight spat in reply, but didn't comment. Other cats were starting to stare and he didn't want to attract Briarstar's attention as well. He sat down but his fur remained fluffed up and his eyes angry. "How am I supposed to stay away? We're in the same Clan and sleep in the same den, stupid furball."
Emberheart pushed her way through the crowd to join them. "Whoa, Darksight, what's up? What was THAT all about?"
"Nothing," the blind tom muttered quickly.
Silverpaw was nowhere to be seen...
