Flamestreak picked up a mouse in his jaws and sat down and he began eating until he heard footsteps behind him...

(thank you. It just seemed strange to just say to a cat that she dose not even know "YOUR DEPUTY!" seemed wired.)
Brightstar smiled to Flamestreak. "Went hunting I see." She said happily.

Brightstar nodded. The two began to pad in to the forest. "Its to bad Inkspill has died we need to find a new Deputy before this moon." Brightstar shuddered.

Flamestreak followed the mew noise and soon found a white kit."Brightstar,"he called.

Brightstrar looked at the little puff of fur. The little kit was a surprise to brightstar. She lowered her nose bumping it a bit.

Soul made out a small mew but soon waddled over to Brightstar and started suckling.

Brightstar almost jumped out of her pelt. She was unused to this felling. She lowered her legs so the kit would not have to break its neck for nourishment. The little puff ball could have been Brightstars born family. Her bright blue eyes, and such was a family trade mark. She stretched her head back picking up the little kit by her scruff. She set it down for a moment. "Flamestreak this kit thinks I am her mother! what do I do?" She really had no clue. She needed Flamstreaks advice. Perhaps.......... A Deputy's advice. She picked up Soulkit up agen in a desperation of just trying to do something for the little she-kit.
