Bluewater smiled. "You're welcome. Anytime you want to continue, just let me know," she said with a glimmer in her eyes. She stood and padded off with a slight dip of her head. Her tail swung gently from side to side as she padded along the river, enjoying the quiet breeze.

Briarstar sat back down, watching her leave. To late he wished he'd asked her to fish a little longer with him. He felt this strange, almost tingling sensation within him. It was strange, but not unpleasant. "Wow, she's something," he found himself mumbling. He didn't mean to say that outloud, and wondered where it had come from. He turned back to the river. He didn't really have anything to do today, nothing right now anyway. He turned towards the river, and raised a paw, and went back to fishing.

Violetflame and Orangeblossom padded along together, chatting quietly. "Hello, Briarstar!" Orangeblossom called from a few foxlengths away. "Learning to fish?"

Briarstar jolted, taken by surprise. The fish he had been waiting for splashed away, scared away when his paw smacked the water. He turned around, shaking his wet paw. He had been miles away, lost in thought, but not really thinking about his fishing either. "Er, yeah. Bluewater just taught me. Did you pass her on your way here?"

Violetflame shook her head. "No, we didn't. But we came from over near camp, and she probably went off on the river," she said, explaining it away. Orangeblossom giggled quietly; Bluewater was close with her sisters, and Orangeblossom and Violetflame of course knew about Bluewater's mild crush. "Did you guys have fun?" The orange she-cat giggled once again as she spoke.

Briarstar looked at her strangely. He didn't remember Orangeblossom being so giggly. He wondered what was up. "Yes, we did. Well, I did anyway. I hope she did, too. It'd be fun to do it again one day soon."

The corners of Violetflame's mouth twitched into a smile. "That's good. Mind if we come sit with you?" Orangeblossom nodded. "We were just heading down to do some fishing ourselves."

Briarstar smiled briefly. "No, I don't mind at all. I'd like some company." He padded the ground with his tail. There was plenty of room for all for all of them, and plenty of fish.

The sisters nodded, and approached. Violetflame sat down next to Briarstar, and Orangeblossom opted for his other side. The youngest of the two, Violetflame, raised her paw in the hooked position Bluewater had taught her soon after the combination of the Clans. Orangeblossom just stared into the water for a moment before preparing to begin fishing, wondering what Bluewater saw in it.

This fishing stuff isn't too bad, is it?" mewed Briarstar cheerfully. Catching the look on Orangeblossom's face, he smiled. "Or are we still content with dry paws?" A silver flash jumped past, but he missed it, and frowned in frustration.

"I'm curious as to how Bluewater's mind works. I don't see the attraction," Orangeblossom mused. She gazed into the depths for another few minutes before raising a paw to prepare for the next flash. Violetflame was silent, but a flash of scaly skin shot past as her paw shot down, hooking the aquatic creature. She slammed it on the bank, killing it quickly. "It's not so bad," she murmured.

"It's amazing how different each of you are, despite being sisters. You're practically nothing alike," chuckled Briarstar, cutting off as he suddenly felt something and cuffed the water, scooping up a fish. He killed it, satisfied now that he had made up for the one he had missed. "I think I agree with Violetflame on this one. We'll get used to it, just as I'm sure RiverClan will get used to the moors. I mean, the other WindClan cats."

"We'll have to, won't we?" Orangeblossom's tone was a mixture of a miffed attitude and a resigned sigh. Violetflame just smirked, choosing to remain silent. Her paw flashed out to grab a scaly flash, but it shot past her.

"Well, no... Stoatstep made that pretty clear," Briarstar's voice was sharper than he intended, and an apology gleamed in his eyes. "Sorry. But no, you don't HAVE to. I really can't force RiverClan to do this. But I was hoping by now they would want to, that the warriors connected and united for a greater purpose, the survival of the warrior code. I was hoping, but that outburst the other day worried me..."

Orangeblossom turned to Briarstar and frowned. "You really think we're all going to leave because of a simple traitor's opinion? No. If we didn't like what was going on, we'd have figured it out long ago. We're here to stay, and you'll not shake us." Her tone became playful as she added, "Not even if you wanted us to leave."
