Moonkit, bluekit, and midnightkit waited at the border. "Were do you think the windclan kits
are? They have never been this late before." Moonkit mewed. "Don't worry they know they have a play date today with us." Midnightkit purred. "Sorry we are late!" Goodkit mewed sprinting up to the three other kits. "Yea I got in trouble for hunting so I had to clean out the elders den." Wickedkit mewed. Couragekit, and bravekit smiled "So what do your guys want to play?" Moonkit smiled. "Lets play fight!" She jumped on to bravekit. He squealed with happiness. Wickedkit laughed. Bluekit pounced on wickedkit smiling. wickedkit gleamed with joy.
It was a bit confusing witch territory they the played in, but when it came to playfighting it could be both. Couragekit ran in to midnightkit, and held her down. "HEY! let me up let me up!" She screamed. Couragekit jumped back. "I, I, I didn't mean to hurt you." "its ok." she smiled. "LETS PLAY CHASE!!!" Bluekit mewed. "Everyone chase me!" all at once the kits ran after bluekit. Of course bluekit ran in to a tree. "OWEYYYYYYYY!" She mewed with her bloody nose. Midnightkit ran in to a bush bringing back a leaf, and held it up to her nose. The kits sellted down after that, and laid down next to each other. "I wish we could be in a clan together." Wickedkit mewed. "It would be fun, and we wouldn't have to be so secret about when we play." bravekit purred. Moonkit jumped up. "We could make our OWN clan! We can call it KitsClan!" Wickedkit nodded, but she didn't agree. Bluekit shook her head. "We can't do that, but when we are all warriors we can, and will!" They all mewed in agreement. "Wickedkit has rhinoface done anything bad?" Wickedkit looked to the ground. "I don't wanna talk about it. if I told you you wouldn't like me any more." Wickedkit mewed a bit sad. She could slightly sense that another wind-clan cat was coming, but she just sat there. If the hid the other cat could just sniff them out

Voices rang out from either side of the territory. "Kits?" called Iriswhisker's distinct voice. "Where are you? Waterdripple's worried sick!"
"Midnightkit! Moonkit! Bluekit!" yowled Riverpaw. They were part of the patrol to find the missing kits.
On the WindClan's side were Darksight and Silverpaw.
'Emberheart's right. Wickedkit's the most troublesome kit of the Clans! I'll bet she was behind all this."
"Let's just find them!" Silverpaw meowed determinedly. "I can smell them. Follow me!"
Darksight bristled at that, but she didn't seem to notice or care.

The kits began to panic. "Oh starclan we are SO in for it!" goodkit mewed. "Grate now everyones going to think I set this up!" wickedkit mewed franticly "WE ALL set this up!" Goodkit mewed. "We all did this together, and we will go down together!" The two toms mewed.
"What do we do NOW!" Bravekit mewed. "Just play!" What are you crazy!" "NO, but it might make them less mad if we act cute!" So they all played. Brightstar reached the border. "Bluekit!Midnghtkit!Moonkit! GET YOUR TAILs OVER HEAR NOW!" She looked at the windclan cats. "So indeed I no need to worry about this wicked wicked kit! She live up to her name indeed!" She glared at the windclan warriors again. "Thunderclan kits come with me NOW we will discus your punishments at camp." The windclan kits looked at the warriors. "we are in big trouble now ant we?" The all asked.

Iriswhisker breathed a sigh of relief, just pleased to see they were all unharmed and safe. Riverpaw glanced at Brightstar. He hoped the kits wouldn't be in TOO too much trouble... what was all the fuss with Wickedkit?
Darksight sighed. "Can't you kits stay in camp and be good just ONCE! You're driving every cat bonkers."
Silverpaw looked annoyed but she too felt more relieved than angry. "We'll find out. C'mon, Briarstar will want to talk to you."

The wind clan kit looked back at there friends. "Kitsclan will live on." They all wispered hopeing that they heard. The thunderclan kits looked back. "It will."

"Come on, guys, better to get it over with quickly!" called Silverpaw, glancing over her shoulder. "When you're all apprenticed you'll see each other at the gatherings."

Silverpaw and Darksight stepped back, giving the kits and Briarstar room. The tabby tom fixed the group with a hard green stare. Briarstar was usually a calm, understanding and friendly tom, but at the best of times his temper got the best of him. He could be quite fierce.
"And look who's returned. Do you think you're all warriors already? You can't just stroll out of camp and around WindClan territory whenever you feel like it! The Clan's been worried sick! And to play with those ThunderClan kits! I thought you knew better. As fun as it sounds, its against the warrior code. If you ever plan on being warriors, you will have to follow it. We have it for a reason: to keep kits like you safe! You're lucky those ThunderClan cats were in a good mood. If Stonestar had been there instead of Brightstar..." Briarstar trailed off. His neck fur was bristling and he lashed his tail.
"Even though you're kits, the warrior code does apply to you, believe it or not," added Darksight gruffly. "Kit code, Apprentice code, Elder code, call it whatever you want."
'It makes us who we are," meowed Silverpaw softly.
Briarstar nodded. "Quite right," he had calmed down now, his anger and frustration vented out. "I will have to punish you. Wickedkit, for leaving camp the last time you had to clean out the elders' den, yes? Now all of you kits will do that duty, for a week. Don't complain, there are plenty of you, it won't take long or be too hard. Do you promise not to do it again?"

All the kits smiled. "The warrior code says we CAN have friendships with other cats of clans, and this is the first I have heard of SEPRET CODS for each rank you stand in." Bravekit mewed in a challenge voice. Wickedkit looked at lightingdagger who had always followed her around. "And its not like we were ALONE lightingdagger was with us every paw step of the way." She looked at lightingdagger. He was terribly bad at making up punishments. "Wow we have to clean thats so terrible." Couragekit purred softly in a happy tone. It was a joy to make there leader so mad in some strange way.

Briarstar bristled, his temper shotting up again. What was with kits these days? "And the code also says a leader's word is law. Kits are NOT supposed to leave camp. When you're an apprentice, you can have friends in other Clans and see them at gatherings. However, these friendships are always fragile. You never know who you will meet in battle one day." He dropped the part about Lightningdagger, not sure where to go with that, and he lashed his tail. "Just go see to the elders!" he snapped.
Silverpaw looked startled. Her mentor must be really annoyed to be like that.

"Why of course all mighty brierstar." Wickedkit mewed with a little cockiness to her voice. The kits headed it out of the den. "OW!" Wickedkit hissed. Some cat just stepped on her tail!........ again!

Briarstar didn't reply, but watched the kits leave.
"Wickedkit, it's me!" Silverpaw meowed. "I came to help. Are you guys alright?"

Silverpaw winced. "I didn't need to know that. Just promise me you won't do it again. I know you're practically leader of these kits... but please. Wickedstar." she meowed ,a gleam in her eyes.

Wickedkit smiled. "Just beware if you ever get attached by kitclan warrior it will be my warrior." She said half jokingly. "Me, and the other kits have it ALL planed out." She said with a gleam in her eyes.
