Pebblepaw stepped up beside his leader, brightstar.
"Pebblepaw if you can beat me in a race you will get your warrior name tonight."
"Thank you, my leader I will not disappoint you."
They both stepped to the starting line. "1 lap around thunderclan!" Rhineheart yowled to the gropes of cats standing all around him.
Brightstar had called her clan to high rock for this strange reason. It was a race around all of thounderclan. Rhine heart would of course be the refry, and her appointee? A extremely brave app.
"Let the race began GO!" Rhineheart yowled. The two cats were off. Pebblepaw was running not as fast as he could he was saving his fastest for the final sprint. Brightstar was running full speed ahead. Her legs burned like fire it was hotter than she had ever experienced in her life.

Riverpaw twitched his ears, sitting outside of camp with the other cats. "Is this for real?"
"Apprentices don't receive their warrior names until their mentors agree they are ready. However, it's also up to Brightstar. If she agrees, they'll all set. I think this is Brightstar's way of teasing Pebblepaw. She's fast enough to be in WindClan," Iriswhisker purred. Lakefrost looked a bit bewildered. This wasn't the way things worked back in ShadowClan. Although he couldn't remember the real ShadowClan well. Things had been different for a long time.

Pebblepaw was running hard still. He wanted to win so badly. "No, its not I don't WANT this. I NEED this." He mewed to himself. Brightstar smiled. This cat was fast!, that didn't mean she wouldent make him fight for his warrior name. "Come now PEBBLEKIT you can run faster than that can't you?!" Pebblepaw felt that anger that made him who he was. "BY THE END OF THIS RACE YOU WILL BE CALLING ME PEBBLEROCK!" He speed up. He, and brightstar were neck, and neck. His paw were blistered so badly, and he could pass out any minut now. He could see the finsh line! He was almost done. He could imig his mother cheering for him. altho she died almost right after he was named as an app. "I will make you proud mom." He said to himself. "I am my little warrior." his mother said to him from starclan. That gave him his courge. He WAS going to win. "PEBBLEPAW!" Rhineheart yowled. Brightstar smiled. She padded over to pebblepaw. "You have earened your name, pebblerock." It felt good. He bowed his head to her.

"Just like that?" meowed Riverpaw, confused. "How old is he anyway? Is this right?" (seriously, he has to at least be 11 moons. you cant just make a warrior at seven moons.)

ooc: Yeah, Blackmoon, that doesn't just happen. Has he proved himself? Has he battles well, hunted well, been through assessments? Is he old enough to have done so? Speed isn't actually that crucial to being a warrior, though it is important.

(ecspecially for windClan, lolz. I'm always confused. Maybe he was older in the bio thread. I just remember the someone else being 7 moons. Pebblerock's cute. So is Pebblepad and Pebblepool, kitties of Leo.C. at Legends.)

(well, if you want, you can keep it for later. It's fine really, as long as he's a bit older. ususally about 11 - 12 moons, or older. It's a unique way to earn your warrior name. You don't need ot challenge your leader, but Pebblepaw seems the competitive and challenging type. He can be made a warrior thay way later, before the others if you want, but id wait a bit.)
