"That's a good little one," mewed Aspenfeather gently. "Brairstar, go to my den. Get cobwebs and chamomile. Maybe marigold, too. If you don't know where to find it, get Halopaw to help." The gray cat assumed her leader would listen and wrapped herself around Wickedkit, keeping the kit warm and trying to remind her of her mother. The medicine cat made sure to turn her furred side to the kit, rather than her scars.

Briarstar's eyes widened until Aspenfeather mentioned Halopaw and the tabby tom nodded and rushed off to find the medicine cat and the herbs.

Wickedkit purred in her sleep. "mommy............" She mewed quietly still asleep.

Briarstar returned with a clump of herbs which he dropped at the medicine cat's paws. "This is what she gave me." He gazed at the poor sleeping kit. "She is dreaming of Fallenheart," he whispered.

She chewed the marigold to a pulp, spitting it into the cobweb and plastering it on the wounds, keeping it from being infected and stopping the bleeding. She placed the chamomile in front of the kit for when she awoke; the herb would help with shock.

WickedKit blinked awake. She felt a sting, but it was quickly soothed. Her big golden like eyes catching the moonlight.

"Okay...." Mewed wickedKit as she drifted off to sleep, and let out a few mews here, and there with a mix of a purr.
